Time to start working.....

I got a job a "Holiday" show called A Season of Miracles. Although I get to be the African all-knowing Narrator type dude for the Kwaanza story I also get to play a Hassidic Jew and The Nutcracker/Prince in the other stories. Yeah!

Starting to try and come up with a concept for a show for next years FringeNYC. I want a huge collaboration type thing and so far Nathan Payne is on board and David London I hope to get others to join me in a piece which explores being an artist (singer, dancer, painter, teacher, writer, or just plain creative minded individual)and trying to create meaningful work in a capitalist, money hungry, watered down, monotonous, boring,self-centered time: or something like that. If you're interested in contributing please respond to this msg. Looking for original stories, poems songs, and anything else that could be crammed into this piece. Especially looking for a piece about L.A. a piece about concert dancers vs Hip-hoppers and the likes and pieces about why specific artists do what they do.

I LOVE New York!!!!

Everything has been going grand here in NYC. I lost a bunch of money on my show but that wouldn't stop me. I got great reviews and everyone who came to see the show seemed to like it there just wasn't a whole lot of them. I think I've found a place to live. I'm hoping to be a member of Flux Factory and if that works out life will be joyous! I just ended the craziest job I've ever done it was catering for the U.S. Open but I got promoted to managing support staff which basically just meant I suppervised people rolling silverware. I did this for 10-15hrs a day. RIDICULOUS. but I did work a gazillion hours and with over time I'll be set for a while. I've had a bunch of call backs lately and I'm hoping to land something soon. Hopefully I can find more time to keep this blog thing updated also.
