it does keep getting better

didn't I say that
can't worry about anyones problems but your own
if you've done the best you can
there is no problem

the sun is still shining
so at least one thing is going right

but think about it
all the energy it takes
to hold the planets in rotation
and we think we're special

there can be satisfaction in our mear existence
if we could only see it and acknowledge it
what we do while we're in this state of being
is just icing on the cake
an experience to live and grow from.
